Sermon: 2/22/26- Tuesday's Devotional

Wrestling with God's Promises
Reading: Genesis 15:1-6; Romans 4:18-25

Abraham didn't have perfect faith from the start. He questioned, he tried to help God fulfill promises his own way, he even lied to protect himself. Yet God declared him righteous because he believed what God told him. Your faith doesn't have to be flawless to be genuine. God honors the struggle, the wrestling, the honest questions. Like Abraham, we often want to control the timeline or manufacture our own solutions when God's promises seem delayed. But faith means trusting that God is both reliable and capable—even when circumstances appear to contradict His promises. What promise of God are you struggling to believe today? Bring your doubts honestly before Him. True faith isn't the absence of questions; it's choosing to trust God's character despite them.
