Sermon: 2/1/26- Friday's Devotional

Created to Soar, Not to Settle
Reading: Ephesians 3:14-21; Philippians 4:10-13

You were created for so much more than a comfortable pew in an air-conditioned building. God's power within you is "immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine." Paul declared, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"—not from a place of comfort, but from prison, from hardship, from the frontlines of gospel advancement. We have a really big God who enables us to do really big things according to His calling. But we'll never discover this capacity while clinging to safety. The nest is necessary for a season—for growth, for nourishment, for preparation. But it was never meant to be permanent. God designed you to soar, to fill the earth with His glory, to carry the gospel to places only you can reach. The question is: will you trust Him enough to spread your wings? Today, identify one area where God is calling you to soar instead of settle.
