Sermon: 2/1/26- Monday's Devotional

Called to Fill, Not to Settle
Reading: Genesis 1:26-28; 9:1-7

God's original design for humanity was never about creating safe havens where we could hide from His purposes. From the very beginning, He blessed Adam and Eve with a mandate to "fill the earth." After the flood, He repeated this command to Noah's family. God's vision has always been expansive, not restrictive. We often resist this calling because filling the earth means leaving our comfort zones. Like the people of Babel, we want to build towers that keep us together, safe, and secure. But God's blessing comes with movement, with stepping into the unknown. Today, ask yourself: Am I settling where God has called me to spread? His command to fill isn't punishment—it's invitation to participate in His grand design for creation.
