Sermon: 7/19/26- Friday's Devotional

Strong and Courageous in Your Now
Reading: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10; Isaiah 41:10

Being strong and courageous doesn't mean you're never afraid—it means you act in faith despite the fear. Joshua knew the people would resist, that battles awaited, that the task was enormous. Yet God kept repeating, "Be strong and courageous." Why? Because courage is a choice made moment by moment. You may not know how the river will part or how the walls will fall, but you can choose today to trust God with today. His grace is sufficient for this moment. His strength is made perfect in your weakness. You don't need a five-year plan; you need faith for the next step. Whatever you're facing right now—the difficult conversation, the uncertain future, the painful circumstance—God is calling you to be strong and courageous because He's already there. Take the next faithful step. That's all He's asking. And His presence goes with you.
