Obedience Is the Path to Prosperity
Reading: Joshua 1:7-9; Psalm 1:1-3

God's promise of prosperity and success to Joshua came with a condition: careful obedience to His word. This isn't prosperity gospel—it's a specific promise that thriving in God's purposes requires alignment with His instructions. Joshua was told to meditate on God's law day and night, keeping it always on his lips. Why? Because when challenges come, when fear whispers, when circumstances seem impossible, you need God's truth embedded so deeply in your heart that it guides your responses. The prosperous life isn't measured by worldly standards but by faithfulness to God's ways. When you face decisions today, what is God's word instructing you to do? The path may be harder, you may look different to others, but obedience positions you for the blessing God intends. True success is found in doing what God asks, regardless of the cost.
