The Light Has Come
Reading: John 1:1-14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word became flesh. This is where love takes on skin and bones. John wants us to grasp something profound: the Creator entered His creation. The light that formed galaxies chose to be born in a stable. This wasn't just a divine visit; it was God moving into the neighborhood, as Eugene Peterson puts it. When you feel distant from God, remember He closed the gap first. He didn't wait for us to clean up our mess—He stepped into it. The light hasn't just come; it dwells among us still. How does knowing God personally experienced human life change how you approach Him today?
