Sermon: 11/1/26- Monday's Devotional

God Does Not Abandon the Wayward
Reading: 1 Samuel 11:6; Romans 8:38-39 (nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God)

The Spirit of God came upon Saul even after the people had knowingly rejected God as their king. This is a stunning picture of grace. God did not withdraw His hand simply because His people chose a lesser path. He honored their request and still moved among them. This should bring deep comfort to anyone who has wandered. God's faithfulness is not contingent on our perfect choices. His love pursues us even when we have deliberately turned aside. Reflect today on a moment when God remained faithful despite your own waywardness. Let that memory anchor your trust in Him.

Personal Reflection: Where in your life have you seen God remain faithful even after you chose your own way over His?

Practical Application: Write down one specific instance of God's faithfulness during a season of your own disobedience. Keep it somewhere visible this week as a reminder of His unchanging character.
