Tuning In to the Voice of God
Reading: 1 Samuel 3:8-10

Three times Samuel heard his name called, and three times he missed it. It was not until Eli gave him the framework to listen that Samuel could respond properly. Sometimes we need someone wiser to help us recognize how God speaks. But notice what Samuel did once he understood: he positioned himself to listen. He did not simply wait passively. He actively tuned in. God was already speaking. The issue was Samuel's ability to recognize the voice. Today, consider that God may already be speaking into your life in ways you have not yet learned to recognize.

Reflection Question: Who in your life has helped you recognize God's voice, and how did that change the way you listened?

Practical Application: Identify one trusted, spiritually mature person in your life and ask them how they have learned to hear from God.
