Your Story Is Part of His Story
Reading: Ruth 4:13-17; Hebrews 11:1

Obed was born. Naomi held him in her arms. Neither she nor Ruth nor Boaz had any idea that this child would become the grandfather of King David, and that a thousand years later, this family line would bring forth the Savior of the world. They were simply living their lives, making faithful choices, turning toward God in grief and uncertainty. Hebrews 11:1 describes faith as confidence in what we hope for and assurance of what we do not see. You are not living a random life. Your pain, your faithfulness, your turning toward God in the hard moments, all of it is woven into something eternal.
