Caught in a Bigger Story
Reading: Romans 8:18-28

Gideon could not see beyond his own suffering to understand that he was living inside a much larger story. The passage in Romans reminds us that all of creation groans under the weight of a broken world. Our pain is real, but it does not exist in isolation. God is working across the full sweep of human history, and our individual moments of hardship are woven into that larger purpose. This does not minimize what we feel. It contextualizes it. When we cannot see the forest for the trees, we are invited to trust the One who sees everything from beginning to end.
