2,000 Years of Grace -- and What Comes Next
Reading: Revelation 20:11-15; John 3:16-18; Romans 5:8-9

The gospel is simultaneously the greatest message of hope ever spoken and the most serious warning ever issued. God loves humanity so deeply that He became the solution to the very problem His justice required to be resolved. More than 2,000 years have passed since the cross -- 2,000 years of grace extended to a world that largely does not acknowledge the One offering it. But Scripture is clear that this season of patience has an end. Judgment is not only an Old Testament concept. It is the final chapter of history. The same God who waited 400 years before acting in Joshua's day is still waiting, still calling, still offering what only He can give. Do not mistake His patience for silence.

Reflection: How does the reality of coming judgment shape the urgency with which you share your faith? Does the grace you have received feel like a gift to be held privately, or a message to be carried outward?

Practical Application: Pray specifically this week for one person in your life who does not yet know Christ. Ask God to give you both the opportunity and the courage to speak honestly about the hope -- and the urgency -- of the gospel.
