When God Calls the Unexpected
Reading: Judges 4:1-10

Deborah was already leading when God used her to deliver His word to Barak. God's calls rarely follow the patterns we expect. He raises up leaders from unlikely places, assigns roles that defy convention, and speaks through voices we might overlook. Barak was called to something enormous, something that required courage he did not yet feel. Notice that God did not wait for Barak to feel ready before issuing the command. The call came first. The courage was meant to follow.

Ask yourself today: Are you waiting to feel ready before responding to what God has already asked of you?
