Sermon: 1/25/26- Monday's Devotional

The Heart Behind the Reset
Reading: Genesis 6:5-8

When God looked at humanity's corruption, His heart was deeply troubled. Yet even in His grief, He didn't abandon His creation entirely. Noah found favor because God mattered to him. This reveals something profound: God's judgments are never His first choice, but His disciplinary response to persistent rebellion. Like a parent who disciplines out of love, God's heart breaks over sin's destruction of what He called "very good." Today, reflect on this question: Does God matter to you? Your answer determines whether you live sealed by His protection or separated by indifference. God's love doesn't overlook sin, but it always provides a way forward for those who seek Him.
