Sermon: 1/25/26- Wednesday's Devotional

The Warning and the Hope
Reading: Matthew 24:36-44

Jesus deliberately connected His return to the days of Noah, warning that judgment would come when people least expect it. But this isn't meant to terrify us; it's meant to prepare us. Just as Noah received warning and provision, we've received both through Christ. The flood came because people ignored God's warnings until it was too late. They were "eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage" completely unaware. Spiritual complacency is dangerous. Yet embedded in this warning is tremendous hope: God always protects the righteous. The question isn't whether judgment is coming, but whether you're ready. Living ready doesn't mean living in fear; it means living with purpose, knowing God matters.
