Sermon: 7/19/26- Tuesday's Devotional

Courage Means Trusting God's Plan Over Yours
Reading: Jeremiah 29:11-13; Proverbs 3:5-6

We love making plans. Five-year strategies, detailed roadmaps, backup contingencies—they give us a sense of control. But God rarely asks us to figure everything out beforehand. He didn't ask Joshua to develop military strategies or crossing plans. He simply said, "Trust me and obey." True courage isn't having all the answers; it's following God even when His plan doesn't align with yours. Jeremiah received God's promise of hope and future while surrounded by enemy armies—a reminder that God's perspective transcends our immediate circumstances. Today, what plan are you clinging to that God might be asking you to release? Being strong and courageous means surrendering your agenda and embracing His, even when it doesn't make sense. Trust that His ways are higher than yours.
