Sermon: 9/13/26- Monday's Devotional

The Slow Drift
Reading: Judges 13:1-5

The opening of Samson's story does not begin with a dramatic fall. It begins with a quiet sentence: the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord. No single moment of rebellion. Just a slow drift. Like a frog in gradually warming water, the people had moved so far from God that they no longer recognized judgment when it arrived. Ask yourself today: where have you drifted without noticing? Spiritual distance rarely announces itself. It accumulates in small compromises, in silences where prayer used to be, in habits that slowly replace devotion. Cry out to God for eyes to see where the drift has taken you.
